About Gorman Landscape Contractors
Gorman Landscape Contractors has been built upon a lifetime passion for landscaping by owner, Michael Gorman. This passion for landscaping goes back to when Michael was a young man mowing yards and trimming the neighbor’s hedges. Over the years, Michael has continually refined his trade through education at the Ohio State University and industry related organizations.
As a child I enjoyed everything outside, especially all the different plants and all their distinctive colors, textures, shapes, and sizes. My passion for the landscape took me to the Ohio State University where I studied Horticulture and received my Bachelor’s in Horticulture from the Ohio State school of Agriculture in Columbus, OH in March of 2009.
My dedication and passion for the landscape business was shown to me by my uncle, James C. Britt, owner of Britt Tree Service. I started working for my uncle on a part time basis when I was in the 3rd grade. Along with this work for my uncle, I also mowed three lawns for neighbors in the area. Needless to say, I have always enjoyed being in the outdoors while helping others at the same time.
